This workshop introduces participants to Dian Cha, a traditional Chinese tea preparation method dating back to the Song Dynasty. Through demonstration and hands-on participation, attendees will explore how tea was prepared, shared, and appreciated in ancient China.
In this workshop, you will:
- Learn about the origins and cultural significance of Dian Cha in Chinese tea history
- Discover how tea was prepared and enjoyed during the Song Dynasty
- Practise whisking tea to create a smooth, foamy texture
- Experience a calm and reflective introduction to traditional Chinese tea culture
