Webcast: European Union Anti-Money Laundering Authority - A New Force in Financial Crime Regulation
The global fight against financial crime is entering a new chapter.
For decades, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has set the benchmark for anti-money laundering standards worldwide. Now, the European Union's Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) is bringing something new to the table: direct supervisory and enforcement powers.
What impact will this have on financial institutions operating across borders? How far will AMLA's influence extend beyond the EU? And what should organisations be doing now to prepare?
Join us on Tuesday 23 September at 2.00pm for an insightful discussion on:
- Why AMLA matters and how it differs from FATF
- The implications for banks and financial institutions worldwide
- Emerging compliance and regulatory challenges
- What the future of anti-financial crime supervision could look like
We'll be joined by Giampiero Aversa, the Global Head of Anti-Financial Crime for an international bank with operations across Europe, who will share first-hand insights on one of the most significant regulatory developments in recent years.
Whether you work in compliance, risk, governance, financial services, or regulation, this webinar offers a valuable opportunity to stay ahead of a rapidly evolving landscape.
