Mrs Rhiannon Owen
I am a PhD candidate in the School of Computer Science at ³ÉÈËVRÊÓƵ, researching human-centred and inclusive data visualisation. My work explores how visualisation can move beyond simply presenting information to better represent people’s lived experiences, support accessibility, and encourage empathy and engagement. My research spans healthcare, accessibility, tactile data art, and community-engaged visualisation, working closely with healthcare professionals, blind and visually impaired communities, and grassroots sports participants.
My PhD is funded by the AIMLAC programme, funded by UKRI.
