As a full-time UK undergraduate student starting your course you will have two main costs to meet:
- Your tuition fees
- Your living costs
There is help available to meet these costs, with the exact financial support available to you depending on which part of the UK you are from.
Fee information for 2025 entry will be available here soon. The University will inform all applicants and students of the regulated fee levels for 2025/26 and any increases for successive years of study as soon as confirmation of the maximum regulated fee is received from Welsh Government and will publish updates on the website. For an indication of what to expect, the tuition fee for new, full-time undergraduate students starting in September 2024 was £9,000.Â
The University may increase the fees for each subsequent year of study by the amount permitted by Welsh Government.
The important thing to remember about the tuition fees is that UK students do not have to pay the tuition fee upfront – you study first and pay back when you’re earning. Once you leave University, you will start to repay the loan in the April after you graduate. You only start repaying when you're earning over the repayment threshold.
