Overview
I am a PhD candidate currently investigating how the Zanzibar red colobus monkey (Piliocolobus kirkii) persists across a gradient of anthropogenic disturbance. Specifically, my research examines how colobus from protected forests, agricultural matrices and urban villages differ in their risk avoidance behaviours, diet, patterns of natal dispersal and gut microbiome composition.
