I am Patrizio Feliziani, a wildlife biologist and PhD researcher at 成人VR视频 within the NERC RED-ALERT Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT). I hold an MSc in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from Edinburgh Napier University and a First-Class BSc in Natural Sciences from Sapienza University of Rome.

I have always been deeply fascinated by freshwater ecosystems and their fundamental role in supporting global biodiversity.

My research project, Salmon Disease Omics (SalDiOmics), captured my interest from the very beginning. I am particularly fascinated by the potential of environmental nucleic acid (eNA) approaches, which I believe represent a powerful and transformative tool for biodiversity monitoring and conservation. The opportunity to develop a multi-species genomic toolkit for the detection of pathogens affecting both wild and farmed salmonid populations aligns perfectly with my interests in molecular ecology, innovative monitoring technologies, disease ecology, and applied ecosystem management.
